For some, the world we inhabit is a place of pure fantasy. They explore realms of story and narrative that come from deep within their imaginations. For a few moments or hours a week, there is the opportunity to inhabit another body, another life, and let go of real life concerns.
This fantasy girl represents the woman that some ladies on the grid would like to be. She also represents the woman some men (and women) would like to meet. With her lustrous skin, rich blonde locks and toned body in silks, she would be many dreamers’ ideal.
Sachi Vixen, another “old school” designer I admire, has just released her Portia series of skins. With its artistically rendered photosourced textures, this skin deserves to be shown off in silks. She even rendered a very sexy “bum,” as she calls it. I found the skins delicious. She offers them with dark, auburn or blonde eyebrows, which helps immensely when you, like me, like to switch it up once in a while.
I realize many women wear Damselfly hair. There is a reason for this—it’s huge and wondrous with lustrous curly wild textures and complicated shapes that all add up to beautiful womanly tresses. Shylah Honey has revolutionized hair for many women on the grid—you will not be able to tear the hair off their head. It so completes the fantasy look.
Finally, a call out to another old school designer—Solange Cerveau. Solange’s intricately constructed prim silks and lingerie are some of the best on the grid. I purchased this set simply because of its name—”Goddess”—a name that appealed because it spoke to the nobility and wonder of women. With its intricately constructed collar, cape and cuffs, this set is for the silk aficiando. Solange’s artistic skills could be applied to any fashions in SL—she has shown it in some of her business clothing—but her specialty is her exquisitely detailed silks and lingerie.
