Everyone has to have that title at some time or another on their fashion blog. But today I am pretty in pink.
I am showing a dress from Nonna Hedges, part of a series she released a few months ago in a flurry of inspiration and productivity. Featuring her signature elegant lacework and full prim skirt, this dress is a delicious delicate pink.
But this blog is really about the jewelry. Tiffy Vella makes some of the most exquisite jewelry in SL—jewelry I would wear in real life if I could get my hands on it (and afford it). Her prim work combined with her textures and colors are out of this world. I can only gaze in awe at a necklace like this.
Tiffy will be having a show at the Shengri-La sims Saturday, October 17 at 7 a.m. slt, called Purple Prose. It’s a static show, hosted by the Fashion Research Institute. You can see the pieces worn live on models and purchase. I encourage you to come. (I will be there, lying on a poseball while I gulp down copious amounts of coffee in RL.)
I dressed this outfit up with hair from Elikapeka Tiramisu. (You find out that showing earrings, etc. requires special hair, poses, etc. It’s all quite a job showing one’s work.) I paired it with this delicate skin from Lorac Farella. I have a set of classics here to highlight Tiffy’s amazing work.
Jewelry takes people’s minds off your wrinkles. ~Sonja Henie
