Thank you, Harper, for this touching – and true – post. In my experience, SL does indeed meet many needs for connection, exploration, expression, and enjoyment; I hear that from many of the people I meet – and it is certainly so for me. I came here at the urging of some very wise family members following a hurtful time of sadness and loss. I initially thought they were all just a little crazy for suggesting it, but I have found so much here: art, music, poetry, creativity, friendship and the love of my life (who came from RL looking for me – and found me here, dancing in the sun). Our wedding (RL) is in September and we plan to continue our SL together as well.
SL is a beautiful place of magic and wonder, offering growth and encouragement at every turn – plus: a whole lot of FUN! I love fashion and own probably half of what you post (including those shoes you are wearing here). Thank you for doing your special part in making SL what it is: something wonderful for so many!
