She Walks in Beauty

She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that’s best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow’d to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

She Walks in Beauty

I decided to headline this blog with a photo from Marcus Palianta, a friend of mine who is so chock full of amazing I can’t believe one person can contain all that. He caught me while I was trying to pose for this blog, somewhere between freezing up and crashing myself out. I had donned the new dress from Poulet Koenkamp (aptly named “Fatal”) with its amazing feathery neckline and waist with otherworldly flowers sprouting from it. I was admiring it and turning on shadow and boom! Done for.

So what does a smart girl do? She restarts her computer and walks away. For me this meant assembling a new loom I got. And upon reaching frustration with that.. I came back and took my photos.

I had donned Tricky Boucher’s newest skin and a random pair of eyes in trying to solve a cloud problem yesterday and I found I had come upon an excellent combination. (Though how hard can it be making Belleza and Ikon look good?) I managed to fish out one of Kavar Cleanslate’s newest (and sexiest) hairs and I was set—a beauty.

One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impair’d the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o’er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.

Excellent piece!
