Inventoil

I was on Pooky Amsterdam’s 1st Question show last night. I was representin’ for all us fashionistas out there in the grid who are thought of as brainless and boring. I won the game, partially on knowing about the Stanford Prison Experiment and partially on the made up word I presented—”inventoil”: the process of sorting inventory night after night.

Which lead me to the inevitable—spending another portion of my evening trying to tame my out-of-control inventory. Remember those days when you were a newbie and you had a mere 2,000 and most of it was freebies and you spent hours working on that (sorting the dreck—it eventually all got dumped). Now I have far more than that.. far far more.. and most of it is darn great stuff. I can’t bear to get rid of any of it. Like the jar of fireflies.

Or the drinks from Tableau and the super Tophat from Pandora Wrigglesworth, which sprouts a propellor when one flies. (A souvenir from a whole afternoon of entertainment at her store.)

Or this uh… pan of eggs and sausage I am lying in.

Or this highflying umbrella from Elizabeth Attenborough.

The question is—what folder do I put these in?

Objects > Wearable > Particles > Insects?

Objects > Fun Silly Stuff > Food Related > Eggs?

Clothing > Hats > Animated > Silly?

Objects > Drinks > Alcoholic > Fizzy?

Cleaning inventory means you dress down, so I wore this cute hair from Truth Hawks named after Ana Lutetia (who probably has a doozy of an inventory herself), fresh and young skin from Monicuuza Babenco, top and shorts from Magen Jigsaw’s sensation sale at EmJay, socks from Krius Misfit (found in the back of the drawer), bandaids from Riq Graves (found in the bottom of a purse so I slapped them on), and my super cool Pornstar Lo-Tops from Coke Dreadlow.
