A semester in Paris for art classes and Jung-Hwa Park’s favorite daughter, Min, was hooked.

She loved Paris—the beauty, the freedom, the shopping. She loved buying clothes and looking chic. She loved the antique stores with their bits and bobs and jewelry. She began to see herself as a piece of art—her own personal expression. She found a beautiful antique poet’s shirt from Sassy at a small boutique in the 2eme Arrondissement. It had beautiful ties around the cuffs and a fabulous ruffled collar, which showed off an antique necklace and earrings from Tiffy Vella. She loved jeans because her American boyfriend said she “looked like a peach in them, round and ripe.” A designer pair of mesh jeans from Paul Lapointe were her secret weapon because they made it possible.

She loved everything about Paris—old and new—and she dressed accordingly. Despite her fascination with antique pieces, she got her hair cut in a side sweep over her face and colored with red highlights, courtesy of Siddean Munro. She loved how her hair curled towards her face and adored her stylist. Her subtle but beautiful makeup was courtesy of NatalieWells, a sophisticated look for a Korean girl who was now a woman, minimal and freeing for a girl in a beautiful city.
