“One must maintain a little bit of summer, even in the middle of winter.” ~ Henry David Thoreau

Where I am the end of the holiday season means the seemingly endless three to four months of winter that slowly drag their way to spring. However, on the direct opposite of the world (let’s just pretend it’s Australia), they are knee deep in summer. The temps are warm, the day is long, and the flowers are abloom. That’s why a pretty dress like this one from Sanura Snowpaw is so welcome. With a pretty tied bodice over a sheer striped layered skirt, it’s a well made mesh dress that she gave out as a group gift.

My freckled and sunkissed skin comes courtesy of Aida Ewing. I piled on the freckles, which she offers in several versions with this skin so you can have freckles or moles or any assortment of special body markings you want. My hair was Truth Hawks generous and surprise group gift—so versatile and easily dressed up with flowers or other accessories if you like. (Also a great way to have a sample of all his colors so you can wear them against your skin and see what you like before you go shopping.)
