If life gives you limes, make caipirinha.
Caipirinha is the national drink of Brazil, or so I have read. It’s made with cachaca, a very sweet Brazilian rum made with sugarcane juice instead of molasses, like rum. A friend told me I should ask for it the next time I am out since I like mojitos so much. I named this look caipirinha because our girl looks Brazilian with a party dress for a fun time. This is Ivy Burner’s offering for the She & Him event, a mesh party dress with gradients of color, available in several versions. With a rose at the sash or shoulder, it’s pretty and sexy at once. Maxi Gossamer is offering this great bracelet and necklace at FaMESHed this month. As always, it includes color change options.
My skin is part of Agony Helse’s new chocolate line at Akeruka, and that’s what makes my caipirinha-drinker so lovely. With bold makeup and a burnished chocolate skin, she is a beauty ready for a night out, especially with Chiaki Xue’s side-tied ponytail and winsome bangs.
One last note: the Hair Fair is opening in two days (already!) and the hair creators I know are working furiously to get things in place. (Queue, get out of my IM box and get back to work!) BEFORE you go to the Hair Fair, join the Hair Fair Demo Group so you can try everything on at home, in the lag free cool breeze of your own home. Make your shopping list. Shop. Support Wigs for Kids.
