Birthday Buddies

Another year!

The SL12B celebration for the community is almost over but there are still a few days to get some of the great things from the SLBig Hunt and the freebie areas on the sims, including your own KittyCat, made especially for the birthday. KittyCats employed the colors of the logos to decorate the kitties.

I am also using this chance to check the flexibility of Tricky Boucher’s newest mesh bodies. I made my avatar a curvier girl—not in the distorted idea of large butt and breasts and tiny waist but a viably larger girl with full hips and belly, arms and legs. I tried all three bodies on and saw how each could work but the Isis fit best under this dress from Marcopol Oh from Shiny Shabby, which I wore in large. “Fit” means that I could use the alphas in a way that allowed the body to look reasonable and believable with the dress. Freya’s legs were just too thick to work with the dress (though it was perfectly viable). The Venus gave a nice shape too though it seems Isis has a wee bit more booty, which I liked.

I am wearing the absolutely lovely Amelia skin from Shyla Diggs, which looks gorgeous on my fuller face with its lovely features and makeup. Shylah Honey’s darling hair for Fameshed makes my look pretty and classy. I love the curls and the pinned bangs. This hair can easily be retro as well as contemporary. This posing blanket is from Olaenka Chesnokov and will be available for FLF. It has texture change and many cute poses.

A cute necklace and bracelet set from Maxi Gossamer at Uber fit wonderfully as did the initial ankle bracelet from Natalee Oodles from Shiny Shabby, which I had to resize up to fit my ankle and it looks terrific. Glamistry is still making shoes that fit Belleza feet and you can see even with filling out my shape, my ankles look beautiful.
