The Way to Elfin–KittyCatS & Friends Advent Calendar, Day 5

I wandered into the beautiful Beast Forest, and I was taken over by its magical powers, transforming myself into an elf with Sands Leavitt’s beautiful elven outfit. Made in four separates (top, vest, cape and pants), the outfit can be mixed and matched with different colors and if you look closely, you can see how Sands cleverly uses materials to emboss patterns into the pieces (notice the diamonds in the vest). This month he is offering matching boots for the outfit at We <3 RP that also include some clever materials features and awesome textures. (How do you like my old fashioned prim sword? Hehe.)

My lovely elven face is the result of combining Steffi Villota’s applier for the Logo Alex head with the Logo Chloe head instead and of course, enjoyed the variety of expressions the head offers. It worked pretty well and the way the skin is done, it emphasizes the more “elven” features of the face. Sometimes it pays to experiment! I got Kikunosuke Eel’s elven ears for his 12 Days of Savings sale on Marketplace (hint: put in “12 Days of Savings” in search and find a lot of other people who are running sales too).

The whole goal of this look was to show off Rebel Hope’s gift for the KittyCatS & Friends Advent Calendar, a pair of cat-shaped earrings that you can wear in gold or silver (I chose gold). Now I know elves probably don’t dangle them off the tops of their ears, but I had a whole idea in my mind about this elf who was affectionate about the cats who wandered from their human’s homes. The earrings are a sign to those cats that she is safe. Combined with MissAllSunday Lemon’s great unisex hair for Uber, which frankly, is darling on a female, it’s an elven look worth taking out to the Beast Forest.
