I totally love this new song so I made a look of “a bombshell blonde who has the devil’s legs.” My dress is a great new piece from LeEnfantTerrible for Shiny Shabby, a great mesh piece that is a brocade with a subtly striped overlay. I love how the beads decorate the decolletage and the hem with a great subtle mix of taupe and light blue and gray. I pulled out some jewelry from Maxi Gossamer, sparkly nail appliers from Constance Daehlie, and wear the stringy strapped sandals Senzati0n Domenitzo is selling at Whore Couture to complete my look.

NatalieWells is selling this gorgeous skin at Skin Fair with Slink hand and feet appliers that come with it and different sets of lip colors to enhance the skins. I wil say I am disappointed she doesn’t have mesh body appliers. I have gotten spoiled with the beautiful lines a mesh body can provide, especially seeing myself without one for these photos. Her faces are so lovely, I hope she comes to do the appliers soon.

My fabulous hair is a new one from Kavar Cleanslate, tied to the side and flowing down with his great textures. I couldn’t help but go blonde because it matched the lyrics and looked so fab with the skin and dress.

It’s probably time to spoil yourself a little for the holidays. You have been through Black Friday and Cyber Monday and even Afterthought Tuesday (and wearing those dangerously high heels while you shopped). One good way is to dress like you own the place and run to the KittyCatS & Friends Advent Calendar and get today’s gift, this set of earrings from Maxi Gossamer that she makes available in both gold and silver.

My skin is one of the collection at NatalieWells’ shop that I picked up while I was doing the Skin Addiction Black Friday. I love this skin—the tone, the lips, the eyes, the brows, the body. Granted, you can barely see the eyes in this look because of the dramatic cut that Mirja Mills has just put out. But you see enough of the smoky, classy face to get the idea.

I imagined a very well-to-do, well-dressed lady about town when I made this look and GraceHaddington’s newest sheath with jacket is what made the look. Grace does textures like no one else I have ever met. She combines and layers them on mesh pieces with amazing proportions and shadows and depths that create beautiful, high fashion looks. This skill is also noticeable in my stiletto pumps that Grace made. Add to that that each of these outfits comes with a texture-change HUD and the pumps have nine various textures, not just an in-world color change. And everything is priced ridiculously low for what you get as far as artistry and versatility. Santa baby, hurry down the chimney tonight, and bring me more of these gorgeous fashions!

The Power of Orange

It was 0 degrees again last night. In late March. I am not sure what to think anymore but this is going to be one long winter into spring. I need a bit of spark and color to get me going so I put on this gorgeous set from LacunaInc, which she is featuring at My Attic this month. I chose the brightest color—orange and matched it with the skirt she calls “Vivacious.” I love the casual look, the bold graphics and the charm of the bright colors.

I took a trip over to the Luck of the Irish Gacha and filled up on lunchboxes and other fun things. I kept going for the Aloha lunchbox but ended up with about 5 of this Elegant Elephant from XoLanaXo Serenity, which was just as well because it looks great with this outfit and has the fun style I needed. I aced the orange ring from Keishi Roo right off and Jade Winthorpe’s chocolate watch was just fine for me. Boyd Krastins passed me these darling glasses, colored in these two crazy tones just for my look. He’ll be releasing them soon in many more fashionable colors.

Skin Fair is still on. If you haven’t gotten there, you really need to. NatalieWells has released a set of elegant skins in various shades, including this darker brown. It’s hard to make a darker skin right in SL, but Natalie manages it. The “Kim” set is presumably named after a famous Kim and comes in nine shades with two different lipstick sets and the appliers separately. I amped the skin up with makeup from Madrid Solo, also at Skin Fair. I love how the color pops on Natalie’s dark skin and makes the look all the more luscious. Mina Nakamura is featuring this darling up-do at My Attic as well as Sasy Scarborough’s graphically fun nails. You have to get over there to get your color fix!

The Socialite

The socialite—the one I have in mind—doesn’t live in California or Arizona but keeps homes there and in Hawaii. She spends the fund raising season in chilly New York, however, which explains her fur-collared coat, this from Teekie, simply an outer garment to get her from the penthouse to the limousine to the benefit party. Removing her coat reveals a gorgeous, corseted brocade dress, fitted just to her and made by Christel Morane. Both she discovered at the Style Icon fashion fair along with her gorgeous glittering jewelry from Belle Roussel.

Of course she sports a healthy sun kissed glow from her recent trip to Aspen and her make-up was applied by Nataliewells, who came to her penthouse earlier tonight to get her ready, including a full compliment of lipsticks and eyeshadows. Nails were done by artist Giela Delpaso, who also contributed to the fair. And her up-do was styled by Marisa Karu, who had first created this style for a Miss Virtual World. Our socialite knows the best so she appears flawless, rich and beautiful on the society pages while spreading her wealth around for all her pet projects.
