A cute pop song from this year for a cute rock girl look. I am wearing Datrip Blackbart’s new Rockstar outfit, a skirt and t-shirt with a studded belt. The texture-change HUD allows for different shirt sayings and the belt can be switched up in color for different looks as well. I matched it up with the gladiator platform heels Kehl Razor is offering at Frost. It’s a nutty rock n roll look, I guess, but I think it’s fun.

I am wearing this all over the new Maitreya mesh body named Lara. I am still working out how I feel about the body so I will get back to that in another post. I used Umazuma Metaluna’s new applier for the Maitreya body, and it looks fabulous. Ms. Bubbles Clawtooth gave out this gorgeous hair in red and, of course, green as a gift for the holidays. I couldn’t resist matching it to my rock n roll style.

I thought this great rocking song of desire was a perfect name for this sexy look, made better by fitted mesh. Start with this sexy dress that Kehl Razor hand crafted from mesh up to fit not only to standard sizes but also to match the rigging of the Belleza mesh body. Form fitting, sexy with lacing up the sides and a D-ring in front, this leather dress is just what you want mesh to do—bend to your will and fit to your bod. With sexy crossed mule platforms from Lindsey Warwick, also specially designed for the Belleza body’s feet, it’s a hot look.

I am, of course, wearing the Belleza body and with this dress, it was very easy to create this look. A few clicks of alphas and I was set. Shyla Diggs will be coming out with a new set of skins for the Uber event, and those skins perfectly match Tricky Boucher’s work on the mesh body, for obvious reason. With darkly rimmed eyes and a neutral lip, this makeup goes well with black leather. Truth Hawks has come out with a pair of sexy ponytails in mesh and I chose this wicked red to accompany my black look.

The 100 Block is still going on and there are some drop dead sexy things, including Kehl Razor’s dress/top with its great texture change HUD. It comes in a solid, which I show here, and with an illustrated front and what makes it so dang sexy are the slashes through the fabric, the little ties at the side and sleeves (which can be color-changed separately from the top), and the slinky shape which is only possible in mesh. He hit the critical length to make this sexy alone (just barely covers the bottom) or great with pants. I had to wear it with Eboni Khan’s 21 Shoes exclusive boots, which will be off sale in a couple hours, so GO get them ASAP.

I always feel very sexy in skins from Shyla Diggs and Tricky Boucher. Shyla has a great sense of makeup colors and shading so that the skin comes off as sophisticated and classy. My tousled hair from Mirja Mills is her latest and comes with her special texture-change HUD with her lush delicious textures.

Rogan Diesel has come out with this sexy pose chaise at the Pose Fair 2014. Rogan has a lot of ideas about what makes a lady sexy, and he expresses them perfectly with his gorgeous pose props. The beautiful lines of the chair would make it ideal as a piece of furniture in a boudoir but the poses make it something fantastic and make me look clever as the Devil.

My friends ALL know that earlier this summer I got a new bike. People are sick to death of hearing about my biking, my trips, the trail near my house, the hazards of my town, the challenges of packing that blue basket with two cantaloupe, a carton of soy milk, a bundle of carrots, hamburger buns and three cans of tomato paste. They have heard repeatedly the story of my friend’s husband, a Federal judge, giving me crap about not having headlights on the bike for night riding. (I said, “Yes, Sir. I will get them tomorrow, Sir.” And I did!) And he never said a word about the half-drunk bottle of sangria in the basket. Go figure. They are tired of hearing about how I bike to the beer garden in the local park to get a Munich pretzel—no beer or mustard, thanks—to bring home to my kid.

My new bike is a coral Townie from Electra with a removable blue basket, just like the one this darling girl shows in her blog, dutchie love. (No, that’s not me. I am not nearly that cute, young or good at photography.) This is the reason I have not been blogging as much this summer:

I tried to replicate the joy of my bike in photos for this blog. I sort of did it. First of all, for biking, you never need to dress up: t-shirt, capris, tennies. I got my shirt from Sanura Snowpaw, who shows a keen sense of humor in the comic book expressions she put on crop tanks. THAWP! I paired it with some cute sweatpant capris from Dalriada Delwood and tennies from Kehl Razor.  My bike prop from Winter Thorn includes a wicker basket (and a bottle of white sangria). I have been known to haul flowers in my RL basket and once almost had a french bread fall out. The prop is true to form!

Aida Ewing’s gacha skin for the Arcade suits this look with its minimal makeup and glowing blush.  My side swept long hair from MissAllSunday Lemon is an easy-going hair for riding a bike, having a picnic or shopping at the farmer’s market that she is featuring at FaMESHed.

School can’t start early enough in my house—just sayin. The huge bag of supplies has been purchased, registration is paid for. Now all I have to do is lay out my clothes for the first day! (My first day I have to take someone else to school and the mommy looks competition is fierce—who can be casually dressed and look fabulous at the same time?)

If I were going to school in SL, I would definitely choose a more funky look. Start with this darling jacket from Kehl Razor that he is selling at Fi*Fridays for a sinfully low price. It comes with a HUD that allows color change for the stripes on the shirt bottom plus the stripes on the sleeves, and it fits perfectly. If you have been hesitating to get Razorblade’s great content for whatever nutty reason, this is a great chance to get one of his pieces a rock bottom price.

I paired it with some awesome shorts from Ivy Burner and these brilliant socks over shoes from beanster Potato. The set includes socks alone or socks with shoes and has a great HUD for changing the textures, which include argyle, striped and polka dots.

I accessorized with a hipster pork pie hat from JohnFrancis Laville, who is offering a red version in his gacha at The 24 or you can get an entire set without chancing it. My backpack is from Guu Nishi, who is the queen of great and inexpensive accessories in SL. How can you resist that little monster on the side?

My youthful skin comes courtesy of PeachieMuah—her latest release. She combines youthful glow with a touch of Japanese sensibility and I love her stuff for a younger look. My ponytails are Truth Hawks’ latest. I am hearing only good things about his revised store and vendor system. People are really digging the new textures and colors!
