Some Sundays I just don’t want to get dressed. I want to laze around in my underwear on a comfy chair and not worry. Of course, in fantasy fashionistaland, that means I will look absolutely gorgeous doing so in this beautiful lingerie from LacunaInc, which comes with a ton of appliers so I can slip these pretties on to my Belleza Mesh body and roll around in a soft chair like this one, made by Whimsy Winx and Sasy Scarborough (the dynamic duo) with sexy, languid poses. Truth Hawks just came out with these darling curly ponytails, which I colored in this awesome light blue to show off the great curls and texture. My skin is Shyla Diggs’ newest for Uber, a starry-eyed confection of a skin, which is part of a set of beautiful skins she is offering. Pardon me while I lift a finger here to hit “publish”….

This sexy song from Fiona Apple suits this sexy look I put together with various elements, all adding up to a spicy hot mix. Start with the sexy top from Shai Delacroix that includes materials so you have a sexy shiny slinky look. I paired it with the awesome sarouel pants from Kit Pizzicato. I don’t normally like harem pants—they really could be so bad and often are, especially in SL, but these are expertly textured and come with a nice HUD that allows several choices with the belt colors and buckle (including having no belt at all). I was very impressed. I ran to Leslie Warwick’s and get these great sandals, which are made to be worn with Slink or Belleza feet.

I used Sawsan Secretspy’s applier for the Belleza Venus body. I love being able to put it on as her skins are uniquely tinted. My biggest disappointment is that her appliers do not cover the hands and feet. I understand the Venus body feet and hands are not “standard” but many skin makers have managed to get the hands and feet. It’s not having to mess around with the separate hands and feet that is the reason I like wearing the Belleza Venus. Having to wear it and then don separate feet and hands defeats that purpose. I realize it’s a time expenditure to redo the hands and feet and if not enough people purchase the applier, it’s not worth doing it. However, I hope Sawsan sees to fixing this because her skins are amazing.

Sexy hair flowing all over is Mina Nakamura’s newest for Fameshed. It topped this look perfectly, especially when I put on jewelry from Zaara Kohime. And let me tell you about Santana Lumiere’s nail polishes and makeup. Santana is Old School SL—she was making stuff before you knew what bling was—and she has snuck back on to the grid with an amazing set of nails and makeups. I bought up her store at her recent sale and omg, she has BELLEZA nail appliers too. The textures of her nails are incredible and everything is priced ridiculously inexpensively. I highly recommend you hit her store if you like the details of nail polish and lipsticks and shadows.

I thought this great rocking song of desire was a perfect name for this sexy look, made better by fitted mesh. Start with this sexy dress that Kehl Razor hand crafted from mesh up to fit not only to standard sizes but also to match the rigging of the Belleza mesh body. Form fitting, sexy with lacing up the sides and a D-ring in front, this leather dress is just what you want mesh to do—bend to your will and fit to your bod. With sexy crossed mule platforms from Lindsey Warwick, also specially designed for the Belleza body’s feet, it’s a hot look.

I am, of course, wearing the Belleza body and with this dress, it was very easy to create this look. A few clicks of alphas and I was set. Shyla Diggs will be coming out with a new set of skins for the Uber event, and those skins perfectly match Tricky Boucher’s work on the mesh body, for obvious reason. With darkly rimmed eyes and a neutral lip, this makeup goes well with black leather. Truth Hawks has come out with a pair of sexy ponytails in mesh and I chose this wicked red to accompany my black look.

It’s been a busy week for me. While I only generated a few blogs, I hit the events I wanted to blog, I set up the Dutchie house, I did my other work AND I made Honey Almond Cake. I also saw the launch of Damselfly’s newest endeavor, a two-for-one hair set that both old and new fans of the brand will love. Tommy and Shylah worked together to add flexi to their hair, combining mesh in an unrigged form to the flexi to allow the movement so many people loved from their previous styles. In the meantime, they are retaining their regular mesh hair, which I am showing here. So if you purchase the hair I show here, you get this regular rigged mesh piece (which is fantastic on its own) and another unrigged mesh piece with flexi attachments, giving you an entirely different look. It’s a two-for-one deal!

The Jewelry Fair is still on and I found some gorgeous pieces. I am always struggling to find accessories to go with my looks but I sated my needs at the Fair. Atuko Cliassi made the lovely chain/diamond necklace I wear with earrings and hair pieces as well. She has a few other pretty pieces at the Fair too. Ivy Burner, in her great sexy fashion, made this darling dress in several colors for the Young Spirit event.

So while I have been building and blogging homes n stuff, I have been wearing the Belleza mesh body around and yes, you see it here. I realize the version I have is prerelease version because I honestly believe Tricky is making tweaks. I am hoping they will make this even better than it seems. That being said, I am wearing it in these photos with a skin from Inka Mexicola. Yes, I combined Inka’s face with Tricky’s body and I don’t think it’s too Frankenstein. The skin is on my face and then I matched the body to the face via the prematches in the HUD. It worked. There is no reason one can not wear another creator’s skin on the face until the appliers start coming in.

I also want to show you I am wearing a mesh dress with this mesh body. Yep, I clicked out alpha areas and voila! It fits. I look fine. Not all shoes made for Slink feet fit on the Belleza feet (hence the option to wear the Slink feet). However Leslie Warwick has already applied herself to the issue and has made her shoes both Slink and Belleza feet compatible. And I am so glad because she makes some fantastic shoes!

So let summarize with FAQ:

Q: Can I wear other skins with the Belleza Body?
A: Yes, it seems so!

Q: Can I wear mesh clothes with the Belleza Body?
A: You betcha. There needs to be more refinement with the alphas but yes, many clothes will work.

Q: Can I wear Slink shoes with the Belleza Body?
A: Kinda. Some fit. But you CAN wear the Slink hands and feet with the Belleza body or opt to wear shoes made for the Belleza feet.

My Perfect Vacation

My perfect vacation would involve a few things: a cozy spot, solitude, and a collection of books. (I might throw in a fridge with water and a fresh supply of cantaloupe, spinach and heirloom tomatoes too plus a good music collection.) Sway Dench made my favorite kind of spot with her little boho wagon for The Liaison Collaborative—a cozy spot for one or two. With a variety of poses built into the seat and the porch and stairs outside, it’s a fun prop or playhouse, and it makes a perfect set for a cozy reading getaway.

Imagine being curled up in this cute little wagon with your favorite book (today’s being Alison Lurie’s Foreign Affairs), some great music on the turntable (Andrew Bird’s “Pulaski at Night”), and a cute comfy outfit. My dress is part of a full ensemble from Moonbubble Gothly that she is selling at District 5. I stole the artsy cute dress with top and skirt and abstract texture for the look. My shoes are Lindsey Warwick’s darling heels that she sold for 21 Shoe (which is available in other colors). Piled around me, of course, are Murakami books, made by MiaSnow Myriam, who is also a fan!

Sometimes fresh air and quiet contemplation is needed, and then I sit out on this chair from Sway Dench that she made for the Australian theme for The Dreaming Tree. With several single AND couples poses and texture change on the pillows, it’s a decorator’s dream. The modern angles of the chair are offset by the cushions so this can mix in with a very modern or eclectic décor easily.

I know Shylah Honey made this hair for Fantasy Gacha Carnival but it’s good for every day wear, especially with its pulled back prettiness. Once this gacha is done at the Carnival, it will be in the regular store, so you haven’t missed it. My pretty skin is Sawsan Secretspy’s special for Designer Circle, sold at a discount for the event. And psst, but Krystal Jenkins put her jewelry on sale a couple days ago and I think the sale is still on. I snagged these brainy girl earrings for a steal.
