Intelligent Life

With the Brexit vote recently and people still supporting Donald Trump, you really have to wonder if there is intelligent life on this planet. I am guessing another planet hosts smarter (and sexier) beings. My sexier smarter being took a trip to the Mesh Body Addicts Fair, which is the best place to be as it opens today. Mimikri Kit has made this cosmic peekaboo dress in several colors with a matching thong and optional tintable pasties. It is made to fit several mesh bodies and system bodies. Nuria Augapfel has created these amazing shoe/boots for the Fair with a HUD to change the inner portion of the wrap around areas to lace or fishnet.

My inspiration to be alien came from Nethya Emor’s skin featured at the Mesh Body Addicts Fair. With a blue and subtle pink tint to it, it gives an otherworldly look to an avatar. I applied it on the Catwa Destiny mesh head from the Fair (which seems stuck to me now), though it comes with Omega, TMP and many body appliers. I paired it with the darling braids MissAllSunday Lemon is featuring at Uber. They come with a hat that fits perfectly on this hair but it can be worn without (as I show here). Funky earring cuffs from Celena Galli at Cosmopolitan Room finish my look.

Small Town Girl

I went over to the small town of Crestwick and thought about my small town girl. She had a shopping spree at Shiny Shabby since it’s opened and got this darling top and skirt combo from Asia Rae that has some great details with textures that evoke movement in the skirt and a lovely soft drape in the top. The mesh is nicely and proportionately constructed so the top is feminine but not outrageous. (In other words, the breasts are proportionate.) I paired it with Meva Carnell’s awesome necklace from Shiny Shabby and shoes from xxsaltandpepperxx from Tres Chic that have the same chain motif as the necklace. (Funny how that works.)

And how refreshing to wear a skin on my own shape again. It’s like washing your face after wearing makeup all day. Umazuma Metaluna has created this darling skin for Shiny Shabby, with and without freckles. I opted for freckles for the small town girl look. A darling wavy hair from Kuranosuke Kamachi for Shiny Shabby finishes my look. I am quite pleased with my demeanor in this look, fully a small town girl.

The hits, they keep on coming. How often have you heard something silly like that on the radio, but in this case it’s true. Today’s hit are the hairs Thora Charron is offering at Hair Fair. It’s a treat every year to see what she comes up with because her hair releases are not frequent, so a whole set of them sets the grid afire.

And it’s with reason everyone’s so excited. Thora has again presented a strong collection, hairs which are elegant yet casual, go-tos for every day use. With individual tendrils and locks of hair curling around, differentiated waves and pretty

Of course I had to try the hairs with a LeLutka head and I opted for one of Monicuzza Babenco’s appliers, which is available at Shiny Shabby for the last days of the event before it recycles. My top is part of a darling dress Kiddo Oh is featuring at Mesh Avenue, one that includes a HUD for changing the belt colors. It’s great to see Kiddo doing casualwear as well as formal.
