Baby’s got all blue, starting with this elegant and sexy mesh dress from NataPorolo for Shiny Shabby that includes a clever fade to translucent hem and a stylish wrapped and ruched bodice. The texture is great and the mesh is nicely rigged. I wore it over the Belleza Venus body after a few adjustments to my shape and it fit perfectly (however notice my thin legs—reduced the muscular setting). I accessorized with Monica Outlander’s lovely pieces for her gacha at Shiny Shabby and slipped on wickedly high and ridiculously sexy shoes from Glamistry that he is featuring at Kustom9 with his incredible texture change HUD.

AtomicSparkle Skytower has been making skins in SL for quite a while and now she is coming up to speed with appliers soon to come out for the Belleza and Maitreya bodies to match her skins and the Slink hands and feet appliers she already has. I tested her Belleza applier and it looks darn good, especially with this gorgeous skin that comes with tattoo makeups so you can switch up your look. My wild hair comes courtesy of Kavar Cleanslate for the Festival of Sin. I used his handy HUD to get a dark hair and then added blue streaks. He has some brilliant mixed color looks and fantasy colors as well. And the aforementioned blue eyes are from Ikon Innovia, his beautiful exclusive for Shiny Shabby with system eyes and his great HUD system for mesh eyes.

When I was looking up songs for this blog, I found photos of Lita Ford today and man, she looks darn good! I hope I can be a cherry bomb at her age! That being said, I tried to make a bomb of a girl today with this dress from Tatyana Ultsch that includes a texture-change HUD for all sorts of choices. Matched with these spicy chic shoes from Senzati0n Domenitzo for Shiny Shabby and the simple and sexy infinity choker from Sora Tatham, this look is the bomb.

MissAllSunday Lemon released this sexy hairdo with bangs at her store, and I would say the bangs make the look, especially over this LeLutka mesh head with its sexy eyes. Even sexier is the applier from Sachi Vixen with separate makeup elements that I played with until I got this hot look. Because of the great HUD for the head itself, I was able to adjust the intensity of the eyeshadow and give it a lighter touch, which was my preference, but I left the lips intense and sexy. Sachi has also made appliers for the Maitreya body

The theme for Enchantment this month is “The Little Mermaid,” and blessedly, instead of being inspired by a copyrighted cartoon, most designers opened their minds to sexier and more ethereal sea creatures. Kiddo Oh is presenting this seemingly basic black dress. I say “seemingly” because she has cleverly crafted the texture and dress so it’s beautiful even as you move into different poses (I am using Vestige Creations here). She has also textured the inside of the dress with a lovely purple so that you see peeks of it when you move. That’s craftsmanship, especially with the coordinating tentacle bracelets. You might think it’s just a black dress, but dress it up and it’s so much more, especially when you wear something as detailed as Mea Carnell’s exclusive for Enchantment, this lovely mermaid motif choker.

Inka Mexicola offers a beautiful new skin for Enchantment this month with subtly glossed lips and beautifully lined eyes. I paired it with Mina Nakamura’s windblown-hair from Kustom 9 in a fantasy white with dark roots. The curls provide movement without being a one photo look—you can actually wear this hair around and not look like it’s stuck in position!

What a dream of a dress this beautiful mesh set from Kiddo Oh is. Besides the beautifully done mesh, the colors that fade into each other makes the dress absolutely gorgeous. Kiddo has attended to every detail, creating a top that has a sexy midriff-baring shape with a sparkle across the texture’s surface and a skirt that has a perfect flare at the bottom. This outfit is available at FashionTropic for a few more days so grab it.

I donned this beautiful look with one of Inka Mexicola’s lovely new skins. With a dew-kissed sheen and a gorgeous lip, it’s perfect for this dreamy look. The SL12B is creeping up and keeping me busy so I am throwing this blog entry out there and hoping you like it as much as I do.  This time I put together a more eclectic look, starting with the capris from Ariadna Garrigus that she just issued, which include a great texture change HUD to swap up pants and belt textures. I topped it with this provocative piece from Lalu Bonetto, which is part of an outfit she will be selling exclusively at Shiny Shabby (opens June 20). Glamistry just came out with these platform-platform Mary Janes with a fish hook heel for Kustom9. (Last time I saw a good hook in SL was with Eshi!)

The spark to this whole look is Chiaki Xue’s newest hair for boys or girls, a tossed aside, chic cut that hides the eyes, but not the style. Inka Mexicola is coming out with a  new skin, which I am showing only a small piece of this time because I used bright lips from Constance Daehlie. And AvaGardner Kungler comes on heavy metal with these great earrings for On9.

Three Summer Days

Summer is here finally! It’s been a long couple years of hard weather for many people, so we all seize on whatever we can get. This darling outfit from Mami Jewell is a perfect celebration of summer with butterflies floating about and its own butterfly wings. With a sexy mesh dress beneath, it’s a fairy’s ideal summer look.

Maximillion Grant has made appliers for the Maitreya body to match his mesh head, which I had shown recently. To be honest, I rather like this body, especially the legs, which are beautifully detailed and human. Those are some sexy legs. I clicked around the makeups to find my ideal look for the mesh face. I need some bright blue sky for the summer, so I chose this bright blue sky dress from Flutter Memel for Collabor88 to start the basis of this cheerful look. I liked this song by Kings of Leon and thought it suited this casual look perfectly. Paul Lapointe and BastChild Lotus recently came out with a short leather jacket that has optional camisole or tank and is typical of L&B, the HUD includes color change for everything, with a bonus set of laces that overlay the camisole so you can have a silk camisole or this lace in black or white. For one small price, it’s a very versatile look with many color choices. I explored them all while I was trying to match to the necklace from Maxi Gossamer for Fameshed, and aligned colors to match Maxi’s color combos. Finally Beanster Potato’s darling high-waisted mesh jeans also come with several choices so I could find this darker denim.

Inka Mexicola has released this skin set in its entirety at her store. With several brow options, appliers for nearly everything you need (I used the Matreya Lara mesh body appliers here), and beautifully rendered features (omg those lips!), it’s a unique, beautiful skin for a fresh look. I love this song from Patti Smith, a gruff sweet song for an edgy look with its own bit of sweetness. The 100 Block opened yesterday and there are a ton of great looks at the “garage sale” they are putting on. Every exclusive item is marked down 20% or more. Like this hoodie mini-dress from Cynthia Ultsch, that is available in four colors and includes a HUD to texture the dress in different configurations, including the ties. The dress is made for standard sizes AND mesh body sizes. My boots are also from 100 Block, and they are Tatyana Ultsch’s offer, available in a ton of colors and also with a HUD to change looks up. They are custom mesh from Tatyana and yes, have been made for mesh bodies, including the Maitreya body. (Don’t they fit well?)

I am wearing the Aria mesh head from LeLutka because Aida Ewing recently came out with makeup appliers for the head, and I wanted the chance to swap up a new look. Several in the collection are very specialized and avant garde, but this look is perfect for our tough girl with glossy red lips and smoky eyes. Ikira Frimon is featuring this darling braided ‘do with blunt-cut bangs at 100 Block, edgy enough for this look but cute enough to take the edge off our tough girl.

A dramatic song from Janelle Monae suits this gorgeous dress from Kiddo Oh, one that she sold at Fashion for Life to benefit charity and now presumably has at her store. (It came and went without a chance to get to it!) With the skirt cut up my thigh, it has a touch of Moulin Rouge, especially with the cut-open back. The dress comes with a HUD that allows you to change the texture of the top to suit your skin tone, making it lie beautifully against your body (be it mesh or system). Big bowed stilettos from Bens Beauty for Slink high feet—a whole set of colors in one pack for one low price—are found at Fi*Friday.
