I chose this lyric and title because I’m mugging for the camera. Well, not quite making faces, but definitely feeling smug because Hannah Daviau came out with a new dress she named “Harper.” When I asked to blog it, she didn’t disabuse me of the notion that it was named for me, so let’s just imagine it is, and I am glad because it’s a darling dress with a great coming-winter theme. Since it’s knit, you could possibly wear it with leggings or under a jacket and enjoy its warmth.

My sexy shoes are full mesh from beanster Potato and come with a great texture-change HUD. And Zaara Kohime has made this absolutely gorgeous jewelry for Collabor88 with her exquisite textures and great mesh styling and proportions. I always loved Zaara’s jewelry in prims so I am excited to see she’s making it in mesh now.

I am wearing the updated Belleza mesh body with all its improvements and I have experimented already with appliers, which seem to be going on quite well without glitches (though I wear none here). Today I made it easy on myself and wore the body with one of Shyla Diggs’ gorgeous skins. I always feel classically beautiful in her work. And my full hair is one of Shylah Honey’s great new styles, this one for We <3 Role Play with a big ponytail in back and those sexy bangs around the face.

Not For Squares Hair

Tabata Jewell’s hair is simply not for squares. She is always reinventing, reimagining and reconfiguring how hair can be on SL. Now with mesh squarely in her hands, she is giving forth new styles for your pleasure at Hair Fair.

From updos to long-straight-down-to-there hair, Tabata is providing enough choices for you at Hair Fair to at least get one and knock a few cents over to Wigs for Kids. Tabata includes a great selection of colors in each of her texture-change HUDs and the option to tint it up just a little more.

The cool thing is Tabata is willing to try anything, at least once. One ‘do is wild with kinky crimped curls and another is variations of hair piled up with a stray lock or two escaping.

Hair Fair is still on, yes, until June 27, with tons of hair options for the discriminating buyer. Run over, duck into the dye boxes from “Esselle” and get yourself some hair. Don’t be square.

No Scare Hair

If you look at Mirja Mill’s hair for Hair Fair this year, you might think she was one fierce chick. The truth is Mirja’s a pussycat who makes ferocious fantasy hair. Mirja is rolling out the feral and fiery for Hair Fair this year.

I can’t help but think Mirja had a bit of fun with these. She went back to her fantasy roots with these pieces, combining her great imagination for styles with her exquisite jewelry work. If you get one of these styles, you get that extra bonus of jewels and horns.

But don’t limit yourself to thinking that they are simply for RP: many can be worn without so they would be wonderful on their own as simple hair pieces. I especially like the two long styles with braids and sensuous locks curling down the back. Imagine these in another color not on a drow, and they are suddenly very romantic and sexy.

Mirja’s ‘dos all come with a great texture-change HUD with several options in both regular and “fade” combos. Additionally, the jewels have color change options, so you can customize your look to the nth degree.

Let me give a quick note about this absolutely stunning drow skin that Inka Mexicola is offering in a gacha at Kustom 9. Get it. Seriously.

I want to note that Mirja is always amazingly generous for charity festivals such as this one. She co-sponsored a sim for Fashion for Life and set up a gorgeous store. For Hair Fair she has created these five exquisite pieces, kicking 50% to Wigs for Kids. She is also offering the Medusa style with a texture-change HUD as a visitors’ gift. That’s beyond amazing. She is definitely a sweetheart, regardless of her wild and untamed locks.
