Pink Profusion

Pink is a challenge for me. Unlike other little girls, I never found pink to be my favorite color. I have actually warmed up to its charms. It’s red.. but lighter.

Therefore, when I was presented with an opportunity to feature a new gown and jewelry, I instantly chose pink. It was a challenge for me to show the work of these great creators with full justice.

Sparkle Skye and Alienbear Gupte have collaborated to make a set of fashions that can work together or apart. This glorious dress from Sparkle Skye includes four skirt lengths (short, ballgown, short train and long train as you will see scrolling down the blog). Then the trains include very subtle sparkles—very VERY subtle blings. She takes it past fantasy ballgown into the true fantasy realm by including wings. If you are a fae, you will want this badly.

The gown, which includes two different bodice and sleeve styles, is for the woman who wants to be a fairy princess (and who doesn’t secretly want that at least once). And she provides it a proliferation of colors.

Then Alienbear Gupte offers this beautifully constructed jewelry to match all the colors of the dress with its charming heart motif, echoing the heart in the bodice. Alienbear does amazing building and it’s clear she doesn’t use machines. It’s incredibly impressive.
